With France’s recent victory in the Euro 2016 football tournament, one of two things happened: either Kazakhstan was eliminated from qualifying for the 2018 World Cup, or it is still unclear. Either way, this country has been able to prove that they are a force on their home territory and can compete with anyone when they put their mind to it.

Didier Deschamps used a 3-4-3 system with Kingsley Coman at right wing-back, and the attack-minded approach resulted in an avalanche of goals as France’s innate brilliance shined.
“The goal was to qualify, but we did it in style as well, and you could see the delight the players had in playing together and how they shared things, particularly the forwards,” Deschamps said on French television.
“It’s all right; everyone got a piece of cake. It’s a win that recognizes all we accomplished in both half. At halftime, there’s a danger of slacking off a little, but we kept going because respecting your opponent is equally important.”
“We wanted to give ourselves an opportunity to defend our crown,” Mbappe said, referring to the 2018 tournament in Russia. Even for those who have participated in and won a World Cup, it is an unattainable goal.
“It was a hit with the audience, and we loved it as well. We held the game and our opponents in high regard. We wanted to continue all the way to the conclusion.”
The floodgates erupted when Mbappe scored a magnificent first-time goal from a Theo Hernandez pass in the sixth minute, with France constantly two gears ahead of the Kazakhs.

With the home supporters already in full voice, Mbappe iced the game three minutes from time with a stunning strike into the bottom-right corner after a great assist by replacement Moussa Diaby.
After combining with Mbappe to deadly effect up front, Benzema was overjoyed.
“We’ve demonstrated that we’re compatible, that we can play together and have fun while scoring goals, generating opportunities, and contributing to the team,” Benzema said on French television. “I’m overjoyed to have played as well as I did and, most importantly, to have won.”
