The Movies That Made Us Creator Reveals Which Marvel Film Would Be First Choice for a Superhero Movie Episode

Marvel Studios has had a string of blockbuster hits with its films. Now, some fans are wondering if DC Comics is taking the reigns of the superhero industry by storm with their new film Superman coming out in 2018. Though many don’t see it that way yet, there’s no denying that Marvel movies have been on top for quite sometime now.,

The “avatar: the last airbender casting call 2021” is a fan-favorite animated series that was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. The show follows Aang, the last Airbender, who must master all four elements in order to defeat Fire Lord Ozai.

The third season of Netflix’s The Movies That Made Us premiered last week. From Home Alone to Robocop, the documentary series has explored a wide range of films. However, considering their current popularity, superhero fans may ask whether the series would cover a superhero film in the future. Because they appeared within the timeframe covered by The Movie That Made Us, Christopher Reeve’s first Superman film and Tim Burton’s Batman seem to be possible topics. Surprisingly, if the series ever chooses to contain a superhero picture, series creator Brian Volk-Weiss has another far more current superhero film in mind.

During an over-the-phone interview, Volk-Weiss says, “If we did it, it would be Iron Man.” “I’m not sure whether it genuinely counts as “vintage,” but if it does, it barely qualifies as such. That film, I believe, was released in 2008. Iron Man, to be precise. Because it is the oldest, it would be Iron Man. It would be Iron Man because he is the most significant since nothing else would have occurred if Iron Man had failed. Also, I enjoy the idea of witnessing not just a movie come together, but a world come together.”

Marvel Studios nowadays prefers to record things in-house with shows like Marvel Assembled on Disney+. Even if Disney granted The Movies That Made Us the necessary access to create an Iron Man episode, it’s uncertain if it would be in keeping with the show’s aims. For History, Volk-Weiss is directing The Center Seat, a Star Trek documentary. We inquired whether there has ever been any talk of featuring a Star Trek film on The Movies That Made Us, such as Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

“Did they have a discussion?” Yes, without a doubt,” Volk-Weiss replies. “However, Netflix, I realize I’m saying the obvious, but they’re the ones who write the checks.” I’ve never had a better experience working with a corporation than Netflix. They transformed my life, to put it bluntly. They altered the route of my company’s development. They are a fantastic organization. But they have a lot of data, and if I came to them and said, “Hey, we should make Star Trek II,” don’t get me wrong, those movies are successful, but there’s a reason we produce Home Alone. There’s a reason we make the movies we do, but they did let me smuggle RoboCop in this year, thank God.

“However, most of the time, we like four-quadrant films. And for those who don’t know, it includes young people, elderly people, men, women, and everyone. That’s exactly what we attempt to achieve. In addition, it is multi-generational. My generation grew up watching Home Alone, and the two generations following that, including my children, like it as as much, if not more, than I do. So that’s what we’re aiming for.”

Netflix hasn’t formally renewed The Movies That Made Us or its sibling series, The Toys That Made Us, for another season, at least not yet. That doesn’t mean Volk-Weiss and his Nacelle Company colleagues aren’t working hard.

“Right now, we’re working on that,” he adds. “This is one of those areas where I have to be a bit tight-lipped, but there is something in the works. I’ll keep it strangely ambiguous like that, but things are occurring… Things are moving in the right direction.”

What are your thoughts? Please let us know in the comments section. Netflix has all three seasons of The Movies That Made Us available to watch today.
