This list is based on the number of games played in total during their careers.

The who gets blocked the most in the nba is a question that’s been asked many times. In an article by Bleacher Report, Tim Duncan, Carmelo Anthony, and Kobe Bryant are in the top 5 of players who get blocked the most.

WowGoodStats is the source of this information.

In the NBA, blocking shots is an important component of defense. As offensive players have improved and become more creative, they have discovered new methods to elude opponents and get to the basket. However, if a defender can keep up with them until they reach the basketball, they may challenge the shot and even block it to prevent it from going in.

Blocking is a difficult task. To get their hands on a shot, players generally require either large hands or a large wingspan. Furthermore, attacking players are typically extremely fast, thus having their shots stopped requires a lot of quickness. This is why in the NBA, big players are typically charged with blocking shots.

Offensive players, on the other hand, are not immune to being blocked. Some of the most brilliant offensive players are, in fact, the most often blocked.

Since blocks have been recorded as a stat, Reddit user u/WowGoodStats has posted an intriguing data collection on the site highlighting the most blocked players in NBA history. Tim Duncan, the former NBA MVP and champion, is at the top of the list, having been blocked 1483 times.

Carmelo Anthony, Zach Randolph, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Pau Gasol, Paul Pierce, Jermaine O’Neal, and Antoine Walker were the players in front of him. Russell Westbrook and Tony Parker, who finished 11th and 12th, respectively, rounded out the top ten.

Surprisingly, u/WowGoodStats also included the percentages of total shots blocked for each player on the list, which paints a very different picture. Jermaine O’Neal and Shareef Abdur-Rahim were at the top of the list, while Bryant was at the bottom. To view the statistics in more depth, look at the information below.

The NBA’s Most Blocked Players:

Tim Duncan is number one (1483)

Carmelo Anthony is ranked second (1379)

Zach Randolph is number three (1320)

Shareef Abdur-Rahim, No. 4 (1250)

Kobe Bryant (#5) (1211)

Allen Iverson, No. 6 (1186)

Pau Gasol (#7) (1156)

Paul Pierce (#8) (1141)

Jermaine O’Neal (#9) (1079)

Antoine Walker is number ten (1060)

Russell Westbrook (#11) (1055)

Tony Parker (nineteen) (1023)

Blocked Shots As A Percentage Of Total Shots

1. Abdur-Rahim Shareef (10.9 percent )

Jermaine O’Neal (#2): (9.8 percent )

Zach Randolph is number three (8.4 percent )

Pau Gasol (#4) (7.7 percent )

Tim Duncan is number five (7.3 percent )

Antoine Walker, No. 6 (7.2 percent )

Tony Parker is number seven (6.5 percent )

Carmelo Anthony (#8) (6.3 percent )

Allen Iverson (#9) (6.0 percent )

Russell Westbrook (#10) (5.9 percent )

Paul Pierce (#11) (5.9 percent )

Kobe Bryant (#12) (4.4 percent )

Despite having the fifth-highest number of shots blocked, Kobe has only had 4.4 percent of his career shots blocked. This is likely due to the fact that Kobe was a high-volume shooter who took more shots than the majority of the players on the list.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim has the poorest statistics of all the individuals on the list. Out of everyone on the list, he has been blocked the fourth most times and has the greatest percentage of blocked shots.

In fact, the author included an intriguing statistic to demonstrate Raheem’s vulnerability to being blocked. In his career, Abdur-Rahim has been blocked more than Joe Johnson and Kevin Durant combined (1250 times for Abdur-Rahim, 1210 for KD+Johnson).

To make matters worse, Durant and Johnson each took almost three times the number of shots (34181 for KD and Johnson, 11515 for Abdur-Rahim).

Some of the greatest offensive players in NBA history include Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, and Russell Westbrook. They have, however, had more of their shots stopped than anybody else.

This kind of data emphasizes the significance of blocking. But it also demonstrates that even the NBA’s greatest offensive players can be stopped.

The tim duncan net worth is a list of the top 10 most blocked players in NBA history. Tim Duncan, Carmelo Anthony, and Kobe Bryant are all on the list.
