Legion Timewalking is a new type of seasonal event with an added twist. It lasts 30 days and uses the old world to recreate content from World of Warcraft’s past, including powerful weapons that nobody can wield without being at least level 120. The first two weeks are free but players have to pay for access after that or risk losing their gear forever if they don’t complete all five dungeons within the time limit.
World of Warcraft is preparing for the release of patch 9.1.5 with a preview on what to expect in Legion Timewalking, and promises to make old starter gear available again.
Because it’s finally time for Legion timewalking, the huge centerpiece of content coming to World of Warcraft with patch 9.1.5 on November 2nd is really an event consisting of ancient stuff. There’s even an official teaser of the event on the official site, offering new toys, mounts, and pets in return for Timewarped Badges throughout the event. There’s also the reintroduction of the Mage Tower, which allows players to take on a difficult task without the use of temporary power-ups in exchange for a unique set of aesthetic gear.
Do you prefer the current beginning gear available for different races when you create a new character when it comes to cosmetics? The bad news is that when patch 9.1.5 comes, gear will be phased out in favor of new beginning sets. The good news is that Blizzard has vowed to make the previous gear accessible to players in some manner, which is particularly essential given the high quality of the gear at issue (and thus not available for transmog). Let’s hope for some low-cost merchants or at the very least some transmog possibilities.
Due to a lengthy run of controversies in the MMO and gaming field over the past several years, including the Blitzchung boycott, huge layoffs, labor issues, and executive pay controversy, Activision-Blizzard is regarded a problematic corporation in the MMO and gaming industry. The company was sued by the state of California in the summer of 2021 for fostering a work environment that was riddled with sexual harassment and discrimination, and the company’s disastrous response has added to Blizzard’s ongoing pipeline issues and the widespread perception that its online games are on the decline. Multiple state and federal authorities are investigating the corporation as of autumn 2021.
The “Legion Timewalking rewards” is a new feature that will be introduced in the upcoming patch 9.1.5. It allows players to earn Legion Timewalking rewards by completing quests and achievements during this event. Reference: legion timewalking rewards.
